It doesn't sound enough to me.
I would try adding 10 products and see how long it takes you. I bet it will be more time than you think.

Hi R2Dd2,

It depends a lot on how much you are going to have to do and how much the customer will do.
If you are going to have to load up 900 products it will take a while.
If you are starting from correctly sized images and suitable descriptions and so on it will be much quicker than having images that have to be resized etc.
I forget if Virtuemart has a way of doing bulk additions or not but if not I would allow between 5 and 15 minutes per product depending on how much needs doing for each.
Setting up the empty shop is not where the bulk of the time will go.
